When Walter was about seven years old, he would sell his sketches to his neighbors. This was the first in a long line of jobs of Walt Disney, leading up to a flourishing career in entertainment. He joined the Red Cross when he was 17 after being rejected from the army; That’s where he learned about making people happy. He worked at Pesmin-Rubin art studio as his first real job, that’s where he met Ubbe Iwerks, and they decided to make a business together, ‘Iwerks-Disney commercial artists’. After the success of his penultimate art business, “Laugh-O-Grams”, Walt Disney had enough money to start his own business in Hollywood, the Walt Disney Company.  |
